My Top 10 Gift Picks for An Organized Holiday

My Top 10 Gift Picks for An Organized Holiday

Give the gift of organization this holiday season! I've rounded up 10 products to help you and yours get a handle on your disorganization. Deck them (organized) halls!

1. Himalayan Salt Crystal Lamp

Sometimes organization isn't always about how a space looks, but it's also about how you FEEL in a space. This hand-carved lamp will help declutter the energy in your environment. It emits negative ions that clear the air and dilute odors.

2. Desk Organizer

Gold is all the rage this season and this metallic desktop organizer is so fun! Even though it's labeled an office supply, I could see it being used for kitchen utensils, arts & crafts, toiletries or even plants.

3. Purse Organizer

This purse pal is ideal for giving some structure to your pocketbook. It'll help you keep all your necessities handy. No more bottomless pit! You can also use it on its own as a diaper or desk caddy.

4. Cord Organizer

No more cord jumble behind your desk. This organizer has 5 slots to keep cords and cables separate and can attach to the top, side or back of desks and media cabinets.

Cable Station II / Staples

5. Command Hooks

I love these hooks! They are tested and proven to hold better than suction cups and the weight capacity is up to 3lbs. But the best feature is that these are water resistant! Hello, organized bathtub!

6. Hanging Organizer

How fun is this new hanging storage organizer? It kind of looks like a Christmas tree! I love the shelf space on the inside and the pockets on the outside. You can even use it in damp areas of your home like the pool patio or bathroom.

7. Screen Cleaners

These portable screen cleaners are so handy for all your devices. They can stick to the back of your phone/tablet or case without leaving any residue. Such a great way to clean and sanitize your screens on the go.

8. Flash Drive

May the organizing force be with you! This R2D2 inspired USB flash drive supports most operating systems and comes with a beaded chain for easy attachment to bags and keys.

9. Post-It Notes

Your reminders will be set in stone with these sophisticated sticky notes that look like marble tiles! What a great way to class up your desk and have your to-do's stand out.

10. Coloring Book

Adult coloring books have been all the rage. Why not have some fun getting your organizing frustration out by coloring some clutter? Both pack rats and neatniks will enjoy this as coloring can be relaxing for all ages.

  • Many of these items would make great stocking stuffers, and can be used by just about anyone. I have one of those lamps and it's so pretty!

    • @Janet Barclay: Those lamps are quite popular. And, I agree, many of these can be easily tucked into a stocking or popped into an envelope for mailing.

  • Nice list or "organized" gifts. Command hooks are so versatile...and able to solve many organizing challenges. I like those little mini screen cleaners too. And of course giving "clutter-less" gifts is another way to go...experiences not things...the only thing to organize is the time it takes to enjoy them.

    • @Linda Samuels: I can't get over how many Command hook styles there are now! There's one for every need. And when in doubt, I agree that an experience-based gift is always welcome. :)

  • This is great, Sarah. I actually have two of the items you mentioned, the cord organizer and the salt stone. They are great. The salt stone gives off a beautiful hue in the room and it's so inviting. I love the idea of the Color Me Clutter book. But, for me, it would be quite stressful. Coloring (never liked it when I was a kid either) and looking at clutter are my most stressful situations. LOL Thanks for sharing.

    • @Sabrina Quairoli: I may have to invest in one of these salt lamps myself as so many people have positive things to say about them. Your comment about the coloring book cracked me up! I guess as long as it's not my clutter, it doesn't really stress me out. The blogging couple behind Young House Love just put out an adult coloring book and that might be better for you.

  • I'm working on my list as well and it will be out after Thanksgiving. I love putting this list together each year:) I have one of those salt lamps (mine is shaped like a pyramid). It was a gift from my daughter's boyfriend and I've loved turning it on each evening!

    • @Seana Turner: It's the perfect time of year for added light given the earlier sunsets. I bet the glow from it is beautiful. Looking forward to seeing your wish list, Seana!
